Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Practice makes perfect. It seemed to be our motto while we were sketching the first ideas for the campaign.A refined and stylish system yet full of movement and vibrancy. By carefully choosing the most representative part of each device we were able to generate a serie of illustrations, backgrounds and animations that present every product in the most innovative way. A universe beyond the realms of reality where feature of each design stand out. The endless kinetic animations and typography layout in repetition carrie the concept throughout all portion of the system. The annual esports competition hosting the top teams of the popular first-person shooter game. The event demanded a high-energy, high-impact, and highly flexible visual system and graphics package to be deployed across marketing and tournament coverage that would speak to the highly-engaged VALORANT community. The visual concept took inspiration from the game mechanic itself and tried to capture that feeling of forward momentum. Using a flexible, three-dimensional perspective grid, every aspect of our visual system feels driven by that momentum. We also created a bespoke type system and an animation language that allowed us to push through spaces and information in ways that evoke the non-stop energy of playing VALORANT. IBM PP visual universe was based on the power of a collaborative system. A program conceived to create strong alliances between companies. To grow in tandem. To build by partnership. Coming from the original 8-bar IBM logo we created a 6-bar plus symbol that allows us to sign any application on its 2D version. Due to the need of having a more conceptual type of content, we also built a tridimensional universe featuring the new plus symbol that elevates the communication to a whole new ground for this product category. Our six tones of blue derived from IBM’s color palette and they are used in a gradual and systematic way to reinforce the notion of constant growth.
